Yes, of course God exist. Although there be many gods to many people, there is only one God, the true God who created both the heavens and the earth. It is clear even to atheist that creation itself is the very proof of God’s handiwork all around us. The problem lies in people’s pride and sin. The pride because they think that they, modern society, and technology are so advanced that people understand much more than what we really do. The sin because it is sin which keeps people distant from God and to not want to know him. People love sin and do not want to let it go. Sin hates confrontation. The darkness hates the light and cannot comprehend it.
I have seen so many miracles and God do so many things in my life that was clearly his doing. I would be a liar and deceiving my own self if I said God doesn’t exist. Before I truly started seeking to know God, I did not see God working in my life and the supernatural like I do today. People say, “why doesn’t God just show himself to everyone so they know he’s real?” But God does show himself to everyone, however, it is us who rejects him and don’t want to know him. God shows himself to us by creating us and giving us life and by creating the stars, the sun and the earth. God showed himself to the world when he came down in the form of a man who was lowly, gentle and humble, but the world rejected him and crucified the Lord of glory. Most people do not want to know God because they don’t want to have to face reality and repent of their sins. It is an uncomfortable feeling to be confronted with the idea that the way you are living and the things you believe may be or are wrong. But the truth is, there is more peace, love and joy in knowing God than anything else in the world. Just think if the creator of heaven and earth is on your side then who can be against you? People hate the truth and they hate Jesus who freely gives life, love, and truth to all those who ask of it from him. If he came to die for our sins so that we could live, then all must first be dead. If you seek God with a pure heart, he will absolutely reveal himself to you and more. All you have to do is sincerely ask God to reveal himself to you. But take heed that you are asking with the right intentions to actually know the truth.
Look how beautiful nature is. Just think of all the wonderful things in nature and how amazingly complex beyond comprehension they are and yet often times are the simplest things. The grass, the flowers, rivers, oceans, trees, birds, insects, animals, humans, and microorganisms. There are seasons, weather patterns, wind patterns, high-tide, and low-tide. The stars and celestial objects all have their order. The sun brings us warmth and life. The moon gives us light at night. The celestial objects even effect the earth in ways unknown. Just look how everything in nature has balance and harmonizes. Look and see how incredibly complex the human body is with the blood which gives us life and pumps throughout our body. The oxygen from the air is absorbed into our blood by our lungs. Each and every organ is so complex. Even at the cellular level, it is so complex modern technology is still baffled by it. Scientist have been finding out more and more how our microbiome of bacteria in our gut affects our health and our very thoughts. It is just amazing how complex the most simple things are in our bodies and in nature.
Now look at love and emotions. Why do humans feel emotions and love? What makes humans so set apart from the rest of life on earth? Where does our conscience and morality come from? The truth is God created all of this. People who are atheist like to think that they are so scientific and logical. But what is more logical, the earth and everything we know coming from an explosion created by nothing (nothing creating everything from nothing), or a sovereign and just God created the earth and designed nature, morality, and humans? If I asked you to look at a building or a car and tell me if their was a designer and creator of it, what would you say? No there is no proof of it? How much more complex are the things on earth and yet people still say, “show me the proof”? To think humans were made from nothing and a chaotic randomness of things, is absurd and illogical. In an increasingly prideful and sinful world, the atheistic viewpoint is becoming more and more pervasive. Human are sheep and because of this, it is much easier to think this way than ever before, not to mention the propaganda and indoctrination.
It is man and his inventions that destroy the earth. If man is so smart, then why do we still have all the problems in the world with starvation, disease, homelessness, and destruction of the environment. We are in the 21st century and are so advanced but why can’t we solve the most basic problems? In actuality, the more humans intervene with their wisdom and technology, the more issues arise. It is like a breakthrough pill that cures one disease but causes six others. It seems the more “progress” we make the more we digress in many other areas. Also, have you ever noticed how often man steals from nature to create his own? The airplanes mimic aerodynamic features of birds and medicine mimics chemicals in plants. We can build mega cities, but they are full of pollution, filth, and are overall not good for our health. Nature, however, is beautiful, relaxing, self-balancing, and self-cleansing. Not one tree, not one leaf, not one apple, and not one person is the same. Not in a million years, could man ever come up with anything as good as any one thing in nature such as a tree. Instead, if society doesn’t have a complete restructuring and change of trajectory, we are doomed to self-destruction in a not so distant future.
People willingly reject the truth and wanting to seek God because they are prideful, sinful, don’t want to be held accountable for their moral conduct, and because they don’t understand things like pain, sickness, famine, and death. Instead of trying to seek the answers and seek who God is and why we even exist, they believe whatever they want to believe. What is logical and truthful is that the truth is objective to a persons thoughts and feelings. The truth will be the truth regardless if it is difficult to understand, deal with, or if we want to believe it or not. I do not purpose to go into great depth to try to prove Gods existence because of several reasons. First, if a person has something set in their heart, it doesn’t matter how much you argue or try to show them things because they will not change until their heart does. Second, the proof of God’s existence is all around us and it has been clearly seen in the visible and invisible things since the foundation of the world. Lastly, I just want to encourage people to have a hunger and thirst for the truth so they seek it on their own. I don’t believe a person can just be told the truth, but I firmly believe that if a person continually and diligently searches with a heart that is set out on the truth and not just what they want to believe, then they will find the truth. Jesus Christ is this truth and he is the only truth. Am I a narrow minded bigot because I think Jesus is the only truth and that I know all the truth? No, I do not know all the truth, but I know where all the truth is and that is in Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Mathew 7:7-11
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Jeremiah 29:11-15
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord
